Clober Farm Update Week 3.
Clober Farm Update 3rd February 2012.
We are now in the third week of construction and have uncovered our first snag that comes along with having a 300 year old house.
All of the internal walls have no foundations and have been built off the soil. This wouldn’t have been a problem if we weren’t adding additional weight with the introduction of steel which could cause movement within the walls. So with advice from our Structural Engineer we are taking down the existing internal walls and giving them all new foundations and rebuilding them.
Apart from the small snag with the walls the site is running well and we are still on route to completion in 16 weeks.
Remember if you would like more information or any advice on your own project, feel free to contact us at the office: info@sisonline.org
